I finally joined the rest of America and bought an Ipod. It should come in the mail tomorrow...at least it better because I can't wait any longer. It will probably save my life next semester with all the hours of plane rides.

Only 3 weeks left at OSU. I'm excited about that. On Monday I am taking the TEAS test which is an entrance exam for nursing school. Kinda nerve racking, but before Monday comes Saturday....and on Saturday I'm headed to Norman....

BOOMER SOONER!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Life has been busy. Applying to nursing school, booking flights, writing support letters, working, studying. It's good though. Our trip is pretty much written in stone. We bought our tickets and stuff so that was so exciting. Jenny and I are flying out January 17 for Peru and will be there until April 11, we'll be home for a week then we leave for Africa. We will be there for a month, spend a few days with Chris in London, and then be home for Tate's graduation. Pumped=me.

So I had a physiology test this morning at 1030.....yeah didn't study until this morning. I am so good at school it astounds me. right. actually I don't think it was that hard....i'll just need to study a little better for the next one. uh huh, that'll happen.

Today in Total Wellness we went to the gym and played wiffle ball....now, there are constantly tours going on on campus for the seniors or something in high school, and at one of my "at bats" I didn't realize it, but the entire tour was standing right behind me...haha it was funny because one of my little brother's best friends and his parents were in the tour. They probably think we only play baseball in college....good thing I hit a homerun right then...

I'm sooooooo ExCiTeD for this next week....you wanna know why...because after 2 looooooooooooooong weeks of waiting......

comes back on!!!!!!!! yeah baby. AND....then on tuesday we all load up in the car and drive to Tulsa for a little.....

wow....does life get any better? I dare say no.

so life's been ridiculous the last few weeks. This week especially. I had 4 tests and two papers, work, appointments, and a conference. I'm going home tomorrow though. I'm really excited about that. I have to take Denali to get some more shots in the afternoon. Tomorrow night and saturday morning a few of us are going to this conference at HHBC. Should be pretty cool. Church Sunday in Edmond then I'll be back in Stillwater that afternoon/evening. If you cared what's going on now you know. I'm on Facebook now so that's kinda fun. I'll try to figure out how to put the link on here....I'm really good with computers so I'm sure it will only take a day or two or 12. Yeah so I'm gonna go perform my first aid duties on a really cool dummy for the professor now. Don't you wish you were that dummy. Ha, just kidding.

Hi

well, it's labor day weekend and i love it because i don't have anything to do. I love being bored sometimes....but i hate gas prices cause that means i don't go anywhere....which actually is kinda fun cause we all don't go anywhere together. We've watched several movies including You've Got Mail, the very end of Sleepless in Seattle, Legends of the Fall, a few episodes of the O.C.,  and of course 24. Right now i'm sitting at my computer, talking on the phone to Ang and Denali is laying on my feet chewing on this new toy i bought him that squeaks. Good move Cayc. At least he likes it i guess. We'll probably go for a run later when it becomes 95 degrees instead of 120. He doesn't do too well in the heat....i guess in Alaska it's cooler or something, he must be used to that. ya know, being a husky and all. I'm going home next weekend. that makes me happy. Brook is leading worship at the OKC campus again. Jen and I are actually going to tulsa first to have lunch with the missionaries that are helping us with the Peru plans. so hopefully that will jump into full swing next weekend. So in my quiet time the other day i read this verse that i think is so awesome. It's Isaiah 64:4... " Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him." I really like that last part. I'm not exactly the most patient person, but this helps me. I know that if i wait and trust in the Lord His plans for me will be more than I could ever imagine. He promises me in Jeremiah 29 and Habakkuk 1. "He will prosper me" and He will do something that I "wouldn't believe even if I were told." pretty cool....hope it encourages you too.
